Host a watermelon eating contest! What better way to celebrate National Watermelon Day than with a feast?
As the kiddos chowed down on their watermelon hunks, I made something for the parents to munch on too. Try my recipe for a delicious and refreshing watermelon salad. Super easy to make and it’s pretty on a plate!

Watermelon with Feta, Mint, and Chile

- 12 wedges watermelon, about 1-inch thick
- 2 ounces feta cheese crumbled
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, torn
1 tablespoon chile-lime powder, such as Tajin
Lay out the watermelon wedges on a large platter. Sprinkle the feta, mint and chile-lime powder over the watermelon. Easy right? Now serve and enjoy Watermelon Day.
