Mulled Wine

Mulled Wine

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 (750-ml) bottle red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1/2 cup cognac
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 3 star anise
  • 1 orange, cut into rounds

Directions

Combine all of the ingredients into a large pot, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Pour into mugs and serve.
