We just celebrated Harper’s 8th birthday with a camping bash.
It was a day she spent with her close girlfriends playing fun games, creating pretty crafts and eating good food. The day then ended with s’mores by the fire, cozy pjs and silly ghost stories before sleeping under the stars. They even made it through the entire night sleeping outside with no sign of any bears. Ha!
Eight looks pretty darn great!
We started off creating dream catchers, scavenging around the yard for treasures and creating wooden name tags. And of course couldn’t resist a good one legged race!
The girls stuffed their bags full of goodies at our trail mix bar.
We feasted on traditional campfire food. Hotdogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob and my Mom’s Baked Beans.
And no party is complete without a custom cake by the amazing Rebecca Singer.
We ended the night sticky sweet by the camp fire. I mean… you can’t go camping without s’mores, right?
It was the perfect way to celebrate Harper turning eight.

Adorable!! Especially Love the cake. And all the stuffed bears with the warning sign. Very sweet and creative and beautifully photographed.
Happ birthday Harper
Oh my goodness, that is the most perfect girls party! Fun, creative, tomboy-cool,sweet, yummy and memorable for them. I love the tent/bears/ cake. Fabulous!
Excellent idea for a party. The trail mix idea is good at a party for all ages. The cake is awesome. Who doesn’t like roasted marshmallows! A good summer cookout at home could utilize all these ideas. Question: where did you get that cute smores camper hooded?
Not sure if it was mentioned somewhere but where is the tent from? It is just amazing!!!
What a dream party!!! Every detail did not go unnoticed!!! It’s all so beautiful and it’s obvious how much Harper lives it all!!
