- 1 (13-pound) turkey
- Kosher salt
Preheat your turkey fryer according to the package instructions. Make sure to fry the turkey outside, away from any place children or animals can reach! When the oil is to temperature lower the turkey down into the fryer. Cook approximately 50 minutes, or until an instant read thermometer reaches 165 degrees F. Remove from the fryer to a sheet tray and immediately season with more salt. Let rest 20 minutes and then carve and serve.
